A knife sheath of mine is like a pair of custom-made shoes that you have made.
A knife sheath must have the same requirements as a nice pair of shoes.
It should have a look that is adapted to the knife design. and please the porters.
A pleasant feel (how does it attack?)
Have a pleasant smell (when shoes are new), smell like leather and wax or leather oil.
It should not be too tight for the knife, but also not too loosely appropriate be.
So that the knife does not fall out, it should in most cases have a fixation that is made with snaps, buckles or straps. With quiver sheaths How it is made by me for the N7 hunting knife in the video on the next page does not need a fixation, but is much more complicated to build.
The seams should be precisely placed and the color should evaluate the overall impression.
The edges of the scabbard should be cut smoothly and precisely and specially polished or colored.
For decoration or design you can engrave, emboss, stamp, carve, paint, etc. whatever your heart desires.
Finally, they should be stable and robust
I have decades of experience and know-how in the construction of knife sheaths. I have already made my sheaths from many materials such as metal, plastics or preferably leather and wood. They have always been extravagant unique items, like your next knife sheath, which I also make for you individually, according to your knife.
